Harry Potter and the Cursed by J K Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne

2/5

Harry Potter is a literary legend. The anticipation that came with a continuation to this series is immense and it is always hard to live up to the hype.

Having read many plays the format of this book was not as off putting as it may have been for others.

The characters from the previous books are as familiar as always considering the many years I’ve spent with them.

The children to me felt neglecting character wise. We heard nothing about the other kids except Scorpious and Albus and even then it all seemed very simple. Not the well rounded characters of their Parents.

The twist I felt was incredible predictable which was very disappointing coming from Rowlings.

I hope that the play translates better on stage and would very much like to see it.

There are some email all scenes that really hit the feels.

Thanks for reading
